Six modern automated pumps for carrying out filtration studies on core and made-up models are being installed within the scope of program for laboratory equipment modernization and upgrade of laboratory facilities at research and development centers.
Experimental laboratories of the VNIIneft JSC Center of Hydrodynamic and Physical and Chemical Advanced Recovery Methods received new high pressure pumps by JSC Geologika in April 2016.
Commissioning is currently underway. The pumps will allow significantly expanding the range of reservoir pressures used for filtration studies: from current values of 25-30 up to 40 MPa, which will be sufficient for modeling reservoir conditions of most producing or planned for production oil and oil-gas-condensate fields. Pump design implies the possibility of their automation and operation as part of a common software-measurement complex in accordance with a set experiment flow algorithm. It will allow increasing information content and accuracy of the studies.
